Carson Valley Wetlands and Raptor Outing (WAITLIST ONLY)

In the winter months, Carson Valley is one of the best places to view raptors of all kinds. We would like to invite you to come out with TINS to observe the many species of hawks and eagles in and around the agricultural fields on the west side of the valley. We also have arranged to visit the IVGID wetlands to bird for waterfowl and other wintering species.

Wintering raptors include Bald and Golden agles, Rough-legged, Ferruginous, and Red-tailed hawks, Northern Harrier, American Kestrel, Prairie Falcon, and more.

To be put on the waitlist, please email Will (will@tinsweb.org). Please include you full name, the number in your party, and a cell phone number.
