Geminid Meteor Shower Peak

Dark winter skies provide for some of the best star viewing. Geminids are usually the strongest meteor shower of the year and meteor enthusiasts are certain to circle December 13 and 14 on their calendars.

The Geminids are often bright and intensely colored, so be sure to grab your warm layers, hot chocolate, and chair, and gear up for one heck of a show!

If you can wake up early enough, meteors should be visible through the morning of the 15th!
