Wildflowers of Tahoe Presentation

The 2022 Tahoe Wildflower Big Year (TWBY) celebrates the hundreds of plant species that make the Tahoe region their home. We are planning many events and activities, including guided wildflower outings, workshops and talks on a variety of topics (wildflower ID, photography, gardening with natives, pollinators, etc.), and other special events.

Sarah Hockensmith of the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS) returns to the Incline Library to introduce the public to the diverse wildflowers of the Tahoe region. To celebrate the hundreds of plant species in the region, Sarah will cover the basic structures of flowers, some of the best locations to find wildflowers at Lake Tahoe, and what wildflowers to expect at those locations.

This presentation will be in-person at the Incline Village Library.
