Moth week is an annual celebration of an absolutely incredible group of insects - the moths!!

While TINS does not have any lighting events planned for this year’s NMW, we do want to encourage everyone to discover and learn about moths in your own backyards, in Tahoe or elsewhere! Maybe leave your porch light on for an hour or two longer than normal and post some photos on iNaturalist. Explore the NMW website for kid-friendly content and tips for beginners, with everything from recommended books, light setups, and “moth broth” recipes.
