First released in 2018, the Tahoe Nature Activity Books are designed to enhance elementary school science curricula and align with TINS programming. The books are illustrated and designed for children to learn more about the natural wonders of the Lake Tahoe area. In the books, you will find a variety of fun natural science challenges to help kids and parents discover and learn about the many animals and plants around Tahoe. Let’s get out and explore Tahoe’s nature throughout the seasons!

Thanks to our generous sponsors, Mountain Hardware and Sports and the Martis Camp Community Foundation, we have been able to create and print thousands of books in 2020 and 2021. During COVID-19m we have been distributing hardcopies to students through school material pickup days, and we also have made free, downloadable pdfs available:
