This popular overnight program is intended as an introduction to backcountry travel and living skills for younger teens. Participants should expect to be hiking between 2 and 7 miles per day, with one day spent constructing a new portion of the Tahoe Rim Trail. This program is fully supported by the Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRTA), Sierra Nevada Journeys (SNJ), and the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS).
