Summer Camp

We launched our summer camps in 2011 with great success! We expanded on this success in 2012: we offered new camps in South Lake Tahoe and also offered Junior High and High School aged camps with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association.  For 2013, we are again offering a greater variety of camp experiences and broader geographic coverage of camp opportunities. All summer camp instructors are CPR/First Aid certified, background-checked, and experienced environmental educators with college degrees. Our camps have no more than six campers for every summer camp staff to ensure that campers receive individual attention.

Thanks to generous donations from our supporters, scholarships are available for all summer camps. Scholarship donations can be made directly to TINS or through our Causes page.
